On-site training
The web is constantly changing, making it very hard for web designers and developers to keep up with the latest techniques and best practices.
The right on-site training will bring your team up to speed — giving them the knowledge and confidence to perform to the best of their abilities.
Current training courses
- Introduction to HTML/CSS
- CSS in Depth
- Introduction to CSS3
- Introduction to Accessibility
- WCAG 2.0 Accessibility in Depth
While the courses have some set components, our on-site training courses can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your team such as specific issues or aspects of CSS that your team would like to explore in detail.
Why us our on-site training?
We’ve been successfully running web development workshops and training for over four years, ensuring it:
- Is tailored to your team’s exact needs
- Is tailored to accommodate different knowledge levels
- Enables team members to learn in a familiar environment
Russ Weakley, our head CSS trainer is one of the most experienced in Australia with extensive real-world experience.
Training sessions are interactive and fun: we encourage questions and discussions. Course graduates receive e-mail support and detailed reference materials on completion of their course.
Start, break and finish times
We generally try to run all workshops within the standard 9am-5pm timeframe, though this can be adjusted to suit the needs of your team.
We prefer attendees to arrive at least 15 minutes before start time so they can set up their equipment and sort out any issues before training commences.

Facilities and equipment needs
You will need to provide:
- A training room big enough to comfortably hold all attendees
- A projection screen (a blank wall is fine in most cases)
- A projector can be provided on the day by us if needed
- A whiteboard
- Laptops or workstations for each attendee. Ideally, computers should be equipped with the software attendees are likely to be using. However, most training courses have very simple software needs such as: some sort of text editor (up to the individual but Notepad is fine) and a modern browser (such as Firefox, IE6, IE7, Opera)
If needed, we can provide full training facilities including room and equipment, charged as additional items.
