Here is a presentation I gave on the CSS cascade at a company training session recently. A simple ste-by-step tutorial on the CSS cascade – for web designers and developers who are new to CSS or have struggled with the Cascade.

  1. Slide 52 is a cracker!! What terms did you search with to come up with such a wacky stock photo?

  2. Russ says:

    Hey Adam – the image is from istockphoto – and yes, it’s rather odd. Can’t remember how I found it :)

  3. mark says:

    On a different note, excellent slides. I think i knew most of that but it is nice to have a succinct example.

    That will definitely come in useful to explain to people.

    Great job (as always)

  4. Russ says:

    Hey Mark, Spam removed :) Thanks for the feedback!

  5. Trimeon says:

    Hi Russ!

    Awesome slides. Is it a part of a series or just a stand alone presentation? I would appreciate more css tutors like this one.

    Can you make this presentation iPhone compatible?

  7. Russ says:

    @ Trimeon – thanks for feedback – more coming soon! :)
    @Robert – ummm… no… not at this point.

    This is great presentation. I think this is number one problem for people who are starting with CSS. Probably this presentation is one of the best CSS tips one beginner can get.
