Sydney Web Standards Group August meeting
We had another great turnout for our latest Sydney Web Standards Group meeting tonight. 78 people coming along to hear Donna Maurer talk about “Web 2.0 applications and some of the traps associated with these newer forms of interaction”, then Roger Hudson talk about “ways of classifying information including the use of facets which can provide web users with a variety of information retrieval starting points”.

It was definately a great talk by both Donna and Roger. Donna’s talk about the eye’s position during any of the actions has shown me how to better my Web 2.0 apps. Roger, as always, has shown a great insight into people’s minds on what they are thinking (or not thinking) when it comes to searching.
Definately a great talk. Wasn’t technical as most meetings, but definately a great listen.
